Here is how it works:-

We are sure that each of us has the fantasy of becoming a hugely famous writer. Inside each of us there is a is a writer who wants to write a story and make it big..
But the biggest problem for all writers is the idea. What to write on, what direction should the story take, will it be good if it takes direction A or direction B? These are the main mental blocks for most budding writers.

So why dont we all sit together and write a book? Interesting??!! So how do we do this?

On the right, you have different genres. Choose any genre which you like (or all of them if you please). Someone among us would start off with the first page of the book.

Based on this, others can read it and come up with their own versions of what they think the second page of the story should be.
Then after the second page is complete, we writers can write in the third page and so on.
Well, there are a lot of us and so each one would want a different page as say, the second page.

So how do we regulate all this?

All you writers can write in what you think the next page should be. There is a panel of 5 people, all eminent writers, who will be sitting down and evaluating all the versions of the same page sent in by all of you and come up with what they feel would be the best and most appropriate version for the next page and then this would be published online.

Once the page is published, all of us writers can start working on the next page and so on.

So the books in each genre would proceed in this way and finally after about 300 pages, the books would be complete. The completed books would be given to a publisher for publishing and sales.

80% of the profits made from the sale would be shared among all those who contributed a page to the book just as a form of prize for them.

So how does all this sound? Sounds like fun? So put on your thinking cap, choose your genre and start writing.
All the completed pages of a book will be available online for your reference.

Points to note:

Please note that the size of each book would be restricted to max of 300 pages and so the story should proceed in that manner.

Since we are starting off now and starting off small, we would be waiting till we get atleast 20 versions of a page before we start evaluating, how much ever the time it takes.
We feel that once this site grows big, we would then fix up a time limit for completion of each page rather than the number limit as we have now.
