Have a look at it!!<br /><p>Welcome to <strong>WriterInU</strong>, the place where you can make all your authoring dreams come true.<br /><br />Here is how it works:-<br /><br />We are sure that each of us has the fantasy of becoming a hugely famous writer. Inside each of us there is a is a writer who wants to write a story and make it big..<br />But the biggest problem for all writers is the idea. What to write on, what direction should the story take, will it be good if it takes direction A or direction B? These are the main mental blocks for most budding writers.<br /><br />So why dont we all sit together and write a book? Interesting??!! So how do we do this?<br /><br />On the right, you have different genres. Choose any genre which you like (or all of them if you please). Someone among us would start off with the first page of the book.<br /><br />Based on this, others can read it and come up with their own versions of what they think the second page of the story should be.<br />Then after the second page is complete, we writers can write in the third page and so on.<br />Well, there are a lot of us and so each one would want a different page as say, the second page.<br /><br /><strong>So how do we regulate all this? </strong><br /><br />All you writers can write in what you think the next page should be. There is a panel of 5 people, all eminent writers, who will be sitting down and evaluating all the versions of the same page sent in by all of you and come up with what they feel would be the best and most appropriate version for the next page and then this would be published online.<br /><br />Once the page is published, all of us writers can start working on the next page and so on.<br /><br />So the books in each genre would proceed in this way and finally after about 300 pages, the books would be complete. The completed books would be given to a publisher for publishing and sales.<br /><br />80% of the profits made from the sale would be shared among all those who contributed a page to the book just as a form of prize for them.<br /><br />So how does all this sound? Sounds like fun? His thin ferret-like body was able to contort around the obstacles that stood between him and the entrance to his well hidden lair. After wriggling his way through ten feet of thistles, he was home. Finally he could sit back in his favorite chair and fondle his newly aquired bit of stolen property. Loomis was a burglar, a thief of the most devious kind.<br /><br />On the outskirts of Chorona a band of soldiers were gathering near the edge of the woods. They were being led by Viccery Povvela, a hunter. He hunted not for sport or food but for wealth and glory. The only Choronian who had ever been able to tame a Gorgahound. He had two of them. They could smell a shadow and see body heat trails a week old. Vic had never failed a client yet and no rodent was going to ruin his reputation.<br /><br />Loomis had spent the last few hours examining his prize and had still not discovered why Chorona's inhabitants found it to be so valuable. He had heard them many times speak of "The Light". However, it did not glow as a light would. He had heard them talk about "The Giver". But, it gave him nothing. "The Shield", he had also heard it called. A mystery to Loomis for to him it was only a metal ball. It did not open. It gave off no heat. It did not keep him company. "Worthless" he said. "Stupid Choronians" he snapped as an after thought.<br /><br />He was content at that until he heard the howl of a Gorgahound near the opening of his den. As the sound of swords hacking away at his thorny defense entered his lair, PANIC set in. It was obvious, even to Loomis, that is was the Choronians coming to reclaim their property. He new they would search. He had not counted on help from Gorgahounds. At least he was thin enough to escape through the tunnels of his lair. As he grabbed the metal ball to flee, he realized that it was as large in diameter as the lower portion of his body. He chose the widest of three escape routes that he had dug and began pushing the sphere up through the tunnel. He emerged out of the tangled roots of a Raspa tree with the "The Light" cradled under one arm.
